If you’re ready to take on a pivotal role in revolutionizing medical technology, we're seeking a skilled Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer to spearhead our efforts in developing an innovative autonomous robotic medical device. Your Mission
- Lead the charge as the tech lead of our pilot team, overseeing software engineers and a data scientist dedicated to perfecting the autonomous venipuncture procedure of our medical device.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clinical experts to optimize the venipuncture procedure for maximum performance.
- Craft and execute a development roadmap in tandem with the product owner, leveraging customer feedback and data-driven insights to drive continuous improvements.
Your Responsibilities
- Guide and collaborate with the team to enhance the venipuncture procedure, exploring new avenues for improvement and innovation.
- Solve complex customer and clinical issues by using knowledge of the interaction between functions of the device. Translate this to improvements in your team and across the other teams of our development department;
- Design, implement, and validate improvements to the venipuncture strategy, providing mentorship and coaching to team members.
- Take charge of HR and competency responsibilities for all engineers in your team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements autonomous robotic control, applying insights to product enhancements and ensuring the team's skillset remains cutting-edge.
Job requirements
What You Bring
- A master’s degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or equivalent role.
- Background in autonomous driving/robotics, or other highly regulated industries such as healthcare.
- Strong C++ design and coding skills, coupled with a knack for creative problem-solving and innovation.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical skills and statistics
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with data analysis and Python-based data science tooling.
- Proficiency in AI planning, decision making, and other optimization techniques, with exposure to automated decision-making processes.
- Previous involvement in developing software for robotic medical devices.
