With a team of over 90 passionate professionals, we tackle the most complex challenges and develop cutting-edge solutions that are shaping the future of healthcare. At Vitestro, we’re on a mission to address these issues by improving patient care with our unique technology—and yes, we’re bloody serious about that! Our culture is driven by innovation, a can-do mentality, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. It’s what sets us apart. By combining AI-powered ultrasound and precision robotics, our team has developed the world’s first autonomous blood-drawing device: Aletta™. This innovation will revolutionize healthcare by enhancing efficiency and precision in patient care. As we achieved a major milestone with the launch of our device to our first customers at the end of 2024, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team as we expand further into European and US markets in the years ahead.

About the job

As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and optimizing processes that ensure the consistent quality of parts and subassemblies from our external supplier. In this hands-on, 1-year assignment, you will be instrumental in laying the groundwork for a robust supplier quality management system.

Working closely with R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, and QA/RA, you will evaluate, audit, and develop suppliers and build the processes to ensure first-time-right manufacturing and supplier accountability. This is a critical role to safeguard our product quality and enable a successful market introduction.

What you will do

  •  Define, implement, and improve supplier quality processes and procedures.

  • Help the R&D team set-up a risk based supplier auditing and quality control process.

  • Travel to our key suppliers to lead audits and quality reviews.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement to define quality requirements and ensure proper documentation (e.g. drawings, specifications, control plans like first article inspections and incoming inspection strategies).

  • Handle supplier non-conformances (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective actions (8D, 5-Whys, Ishikawa).

  • Support qualification of new suppliers and components.

  • Set up and optimize metrics for supplier performance and quality KPIs.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners on DFM/DFA.

  • Ensure alignment with ISO13485 and other applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Be a key contributor to our mission of delivering high-quality MedTech at scale.
