Warehouse Operator
Job Description Summary
As a Warehouse Operator at Vitestro, you will be responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining our warehouse to ensure an efficient and smooth production flow. Your tasks will include receiving, storing, and distributing parts and supplies used in our high-tech medical devices. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team to support the assembly and production teams. You will be an essential part of Vitestro’s operational success, helping ensure timely delivery of materials to keep production on schedule.
Positions within the company
As a Warehouse Operator, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with the production and purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels and inventory accuracy.
Your key responsibilities
Receive, check, and store incoming materials and supplies in the designated warehouse areas.
Ensure accurate and organized inventory management, maintaining up-to-date records in our ERP system.
Prepare and distribute parts for production and assembly teams based on the daily requirements and schedule.
Perform regular stock counts to verify inventory accuracy and assist in identifying discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, complying with safety regulations and procedures.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to manage stock levels, flagging potential shortages.
Identify and address any damaged or defective items received from suppliers.
Support production by promptly fulfilling material requests and maintaining smooth warehouse workflows.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and inventory management.
Job requirements
What you will bring
Secondary education or equivalent experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory management is an advantage (Odoo experience is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of stock control and warehouse management practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move materials as required.
Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
