Assembly Technician
About the job
As an Assembly Technician at Vitestro, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly, testing, calibration, and documentation of our cutting-edge medical devices. You will work within the production team to ensure that each device is meticulously built to our high-quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise assembly instructions. You will play a key role in bringing our innovative devices to life, contributing to the advancement of automated blood draw technology.
Position within the company
As an Assembly Technician, you will report directly to the Production Lead and collaborate closely with other engineers and quality control teams to ensure that all devices meet the required standards and are delivered on schedule.
Your key responsibilities
Assemble complex (sub)systems and fully integrated devices according to detailed specifications and assembly instructions.
Test and calibrate devices to ensure they meet performance requirements and industry standards.
Perform detailed inspections of assembled components to verify quality and adherence to technical drawings.
Work closely with the engineering team to resolve any assembly issues and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Ensure that all relevant documentation, including assembly logs, test reports, and calibration records, is accurate and complete.
Follow strict quality control procedures and maintain compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
Identify and report any defects or non-conformities during assembly, testing, or calibration processes.
Collaborate with colleagues to optimize workflow and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for device assembly and testing.
Actively participate in training and development programs to keep skills up-to-date with industry advancements.
Job requirements
What you will bring
Technical diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience in device assembly.
2-4 years of experience in assembling high-tech equipment or medical devices.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in testing and calibrating mechanical and electronic components.
Attention to detail and the ability to work precisely and efficiently under deadlines.
Familiarity with quality control processes, documentation, and compliance with ISO standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to accurately document work.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
